By 1967, the most unusual creation of De Tomaso is a short city electric car of the Rowan brand. The De Tomaso Rowan was an electric powered concept car designed by a young Giorgetto Giugiaro and built in 1967 by Ghia. The car was a supermini with five seats. It only had two doors and was left hand drive. Each rear wheel was driven by its own electric motor, the power reserve reached 300 km, and the maximum speed was 70 km / h.
