The design was reworked in a more sporty key on the BMW Pickster in 1998. The plastic bodywork was barchetta-style, while the light sidelines give the vehicle a linear look. A three-cylinder Suzuki motorcycle engine, was mounted along the left side, leaving room on the right for the radiator.
