The 1987 Suzuki Elia concept was presented at the Tokyo Motor Show. Its compact off-road styling made a statement. Its wraparound bumper is interrupted by the lines of the seemingly elongated doors. Although it only seats two, the trunk offers cargo space. Also notable is its three-slot grill. Perhaps they were foreshadowing the 3-cylinder turbo engine that lies beneath the hood.
