Year after year, with the creation of the Audi A6, similar work began at the European branch of Ford, where the original new edge style was developed, resembling funny patterns of colored kaleidoscope glasses, which formed either a Ka model or a concept for Mercury. The design of both cars can equally claim to be a trendsetter of the 90s: Audi as a reconstructor and continuator of the ideology of classical functionalism in automotive design and Ford as having developed its artistic reinterpretation.
