Recon was introduced at the 1999 North American Auto Show in Detroit. It was designed entirely with computers. It had a two-panel opening roof and an instrument panel that could be reconfigured to the driver’s preferences using display windows. Recon was an all-wheel drive and featured a 3.0 V6. Lear seats were made of foam and had no covering or padding. Their slim profile added to interior space.
